I agree that Chan-il overreacted a bit. But I agree that his reaction is VALID. I mean he’s Cirrus’s friend but being ghosted by Cirrus. At the same time, Cirrus is also a person who’s hurt so he won’t have time for friendship bonding. He has an emergency clearly and seems to be grieving(?).
So he got more pissed when Chan-il stopped him over his own insecurity (seeing his girlfriend and Cirrus together). But let’s be real, Chan-il isn’t exactly mad because he saw them together, I think he connected the dots that the crying person on the phone was Cirrus. I don’t think he’s STUPID, maybe dense, not stupid.
My theory is that. adding to my theory, Chan-il looks more hurt and pissed seeing them together, because he expected his own friend Cirrus to rely on him and look for comfort in him. And Chan-il has been hurt ever since he saw Cirrus’s dad hit Cirrus, and then being shut off by Cirrus.
He’s concerned but his anger got the best of him in the recent argument between Cirrus and Chan-il.
That is my theory. And to those who are mad at him, your reaction is valid because we’ve gotten mad at Cirrus becoming angry and losing control, saying stuff he shouldn’t have. Honestly, all the main characters and important side characters have gotten angry and lost somewhat of control. They are teens btw!
