So, the duke kind and killian find out at the end of story when Lize tries to kill Edith but this incident is swept under the rug by the duke and the elder bro and so duchess has no clue about it. in the side stories, people are finding out more and more about her true colors, since author's authority has completely collapsed and people do not blindly trust her or follow her. However, the elder bro is still madly in love with her, though Lize doesn't really seem to care about him. Lize is finally out of the picture when she tried to force a scenario to play out that happened in the og work and won her the support of royal family but ends up getting jailed.
