She also highlighted Anna being humiliated and her crying. It was a weird story. And ever time it might look like the story might do something interesting the author was like nope. Not doing anything interesting with this.

to that person who said "blame the characters not the author" for having shit personalities. let me hold your hand when i tell you this, the author has all the power to write the characters, so of course, we'll be blaming the author for the lack of good story quality. im not the best illustrator nor writer out there, but i say this out of love, if the author can't write something good then they should just hire someone to make a story. this already happened to their previous story, "bad thinking diary". i feel like most people only read this because the illustration quality is top tier, but in the end they get disappointed over the plot story.
anna is probably the only one with complex back story. she had the potential to make the story good. she didn't want to "love" anyone because she was thought differently when she was a kid. she didn't want to "love" lily because she doesn't want to end up like her mother. it would've been better if the author dive deeper using anna's story and try to make her heal from her trauma. but no, i guess, the author's focus is on lily instead but no progress at all. i feel seriously disappointed because i feel like this author only highlights smut scenes. this is like a "smut only" but with poorly written back story just so people will think this is not just p*rn.
