Another wild thing is not many people are really able to afford the clothing and accessories until they hit later in adult age. When you have your own stable source of income. Most parents aren't willing to shell out money for this type of hobby. Maybe some but not many in my experience. Not many younger even have a job that can support this hobby. Though there are more affordable options it stills ends up being quite a bit.
There is also the fact some parents may be strict and not allow their kids to get involved in the fashion. Not many people have the freedom to explore different styles of fashion until they hit adult age.
I'm not going to lie and pretend I never had those same thoughts before, about what people think. Life is way too short to care what a bunch of strangers think of me. To live your life to please others will make you miserable in the long run. And you will look back with regret on how you wasted your life not focusing on your own happiness. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
