(unless i missed something that said seme was the asshole in the past life) during the early chapters, the uke mentioned that the two companies marrying him off to the older brother would make more sense than to 'waste' him on the talented-with-potential second son! so i think it's possible that's what they originally did in the first life

It couldn't have been in that instance, unless Sejin is replacing Ido's face and body with Ikungs every flashback (which is quite possible). Also, Ido obviously knows everything to happen so I'm just confused what to believe and where to start.
Nah it’s Ido. Ijung was just a side character in their first life. Ido was reborn that’s why he tried hard to redeem himself.

So from what I thought.
In first life, mc might have sold himself to that b**** (the brother of the seme) to save his fathers company. Seme that time, having no connections to him, yadayada Let him be abused by his b**** brother.
That nightmare of him this second life is due to his first life being raped first by that b**** brother.
He had been abused a lot, maybe he became a wh*** or prostitute because of that b**** brother.
And the time regarding the file that he must steal, he successfully stole it in the first life and when the mc knew it, he got mad yadayda, he might have abused him also because of a misunderstanding. ( but who wouldn't get mad in that situation where you work hard on something and was just stolen by somebody)
And maybe like they slowly got to know each other, fall in love, s**, live together but maybe MC died at one point.
This is all I can think of.
Also NOTE:
● The cause of trauma and nightmare of the mc is because of his first life of that b**** brother. Like maybe his parallel universe self is telling him to avoid that man at all cost cause he is bad news.
● MC might have died due to suicide or from labor. I don't know. Just a thought. Cuz mc is preventing him from using his study that has a lot of "dangerous stuff" and he doesn't like "children" saying he won't be a good father.
