Since these are characters/tropes in comics and artistic media that have been around longer than we have been alive, I can confidently say that it’s not that deep.

Well, we cant really judge readers. Like myself, I read different genre for the plot. Variety to fight boredom or stress of reality. :) it’s totally okay to have different opinions. Have a great day!
It's interesting how these types of manipulative characters always and always have a group of people(like, real life readers/watches) that likes them without question. Is there a possibility that all of these people are the type to be easily manipulated? Or am I theorizing too much
