Elaborate cause I wanna know your perspective
Personally i dont really wanna get married cuz i only see negatives too it. Besides from what i have noticed the only reason people really wanna get married is because its like a "new stage", but i do not see it as that because after you are married you will still be and act the same as you did before marriage. I feel like most of the people around me just get married because they either have kids or because they have been together for so long that they might as well.
And from what i read it seemed like the uke wanted to get married because he saw how happy his friends and their parents looked and deemed that as nice. So why cant they just have the ceremony and act like they are married, but without it being registered.
Wedding ceremony is the most superficial aspect of a marriage and I find it inconsiderate to suggest that to someone that wants to get married. I'm a person that's scared to get married because I've also seen the negatives, still I hope to be able to get married and wedding ceremony is the least of my concern. What makes me think a married couple look happy is how they treat each other as a life partner not their wedding ceremony.
What I meant by wedding ceremony is the party aspect not the vows btw. Wedding vows should be sacred.
Am i the only one who thinks this is a good resolution.
