Cause of the scene where it said “everyone you get close to ends up dead” just a speculation that the brother may possibly be a hallucination due to trauma, that’s all.
But when he came to the dorm he said he just got out I’m thinking he meant jail bc the brother isn’t in the flashback it’s the mom dad and friends I think the Brother is possessive obsessive controlling, and he said fire to something or hurt the friends and someway so they wouldn’t be close to him and he went to jail for it
I thought out of some psychiatric hospital
That’s also a large possibility
