I would agree but it feels a bit off bc I feel like the one he rlly likes is the OG Roella. He alrdy had 20% affection for her, was the only one she spent time with and vice versa, and was probably in denial abt his feelings and friendzoned as a result. Imo, it would just feel a bit wrong bc he’s not our FL’s childhood friend (friends to lovers) with affection for her. He has all that history and feelings for the OG Roella, not the FL, although he obviously doesn’t hate her change. Whereas our FL is literally just pretending to be the same person with amnesia when she’s actually not. She’s a transmigrator from another world occupying his close friend’s body..
If I had to guess, the ML will probably be someone she meets for the first time who as a result likes the FL herself, to avoid this sort of situation

ngl same it made me sad too i sometimes think abt this with transmigration manhwas where the fl wakes up in someone else's body after they had an accident or something (& when there isn’t a plot twist that she’s always been that person all along) and the family is like “omg my baby is awake! It’s a miracle!” and I’m just thinking like umm actually no ur kid is dead that is a 25 year old Korean woman occupying her body and masquerading as her,, it’s honestly rlly sad :(
it's worst when the story is they treat the og like shit then starts apologizing and being sorry when the transmigration happens. anw, i hope kai gets a good ending even if he wasn't the ml. i mean he deserve it all since he stayed by the og's side
