is irritating. The pilot felt awkward and rushed, and my dumb self did not realize it was a pilot. But then there was a super plot-different prologue for the official start... then another very different version begins for the first season..... which ended a year ago, so might be the only season??
Kinda dumb that everyone sees them as mother and son when all that happened was the dad uses marriage contracts as a lousy cover to own someone before killing them. I mean, many cultures consider marriage to not be complete until consumated, so that by itself would mean the fake marriage could be rendered null and void. And in no way, shape or form is there any marital or familial bond with anyone, she's just a weird hostage, so how is this anything like how everyone is saying...?
I just can't understand how the creators cared so much, we've gotten 3 versions of the story..... but they didn't care enough to continue it? Unless the author was in some kind of accident, it doesn't make sense.
