I hate when a bunch of women get thrown into an otherwise good plot just to force romance.
If it's like with Arin, her being excited to be around him but him doing his own thing (revenge), then I'm also fine with that.
And like you I'll skip the romance if it gets too obnoxious.
Why can't a good fantasy/revenge Manhwa not focus on just that, I get having a little love interest for a wholesome moment at the end but there's an entire "romance" genre for people who enjoy reading that.
Yea it's pretty irritating. Sure, the author can build it up for something end game like you said, but to have it just thrown in the middle of the plot is eh. Have 1 or 2 but leave it at that. So far it's fine but we'll just have to see how muddled it gets
If it started with romance, the whole viewership would be different but having it in the middle of the story will obviously turn people off that started to read this for the revenge plot...
Also I read further spoilers below and apparently the dragon daughter will become part of the harem...that's literally disgusting ngl, have a dragon waifu but pls don't raise her first and let her call you "papa"....
Can someone let me know? I've seen all the spoilers about his 7 wives but ironically I always eat up these types of isekai's so as long as his wives or whatever don't fully interrupt the plot of his revenge idrc. The romance doesn't become the main focus of the story, does it? Because I don't mind scrolling past all that as long as the main revenge plot is still the main focus.
