I understand why he'd be hurt, since it's been pretty clear from the start that he deep down cares about Marie. What I don't get is why the king's concerned now? Marie was also exceptionally beautiful and it seems he couldn't care less when she died, and now he hovers over a woman who collapsed? I hope there's an explanation for this, that makes sense. I don't think this is an issue of the art though, but more of the script. I hope the author isn't too worried, that people will stop reading is they don't fall in love immediately
I think he was in pain cos he was thinking that marie died loving a king who doesnt care. Or smth. But he dont know cos he didnt think his love for her was that deep
I love the art- it's easier to understand but the characters kinda change too ? Like the king was a lot more ruthless y'know and the uke was a lot more emotionless but now they're like....mid. my boi just said it hurts ( his heart ) Outta nowhere and the king too is just suddenly caring about him like .? That makes no sense- there's also the fact that the og was very mysterious kinda and interesting and now it's become like any other- I dunno bruh
