Multiple volumes of Vampire Knight were available in my middle school library. That's how a friend of mine back then got into anime/manga.
There was an instance where I was at some random no-where library and they had a teeny tiny manga section and in there was a straight up yaoi. I can't for the life of me remember which one it was, but I know that it was probably an early 2000s manga and the cover didn't SCREAM bl, but it was definitely one of the ones that had sex scenes in it.
I went to the flea market yesterday in a random ass hillbilly town and found a true gem, the first book to Yarichin Bitch Club, only $4. I was gagged bc it’s just a bunch of red necks. Makes me think has anyone else got stories about finding stuff like this in unexpected places?
