Why? Simple. author needs a reason for ML to be fucking another « hot » rich bad guy
So the author wants this story to really become trash. But the author won't do that. Doing that it's literally like putting all your work on fire. They just want to create more drama but not at that level

I don't understand why je oh acts like that. I hate what Seung rok or whatever his name is did. Why is everything going in such a bad direction. Being here from the start it was so good. It was going somewhere. But frustration is the only thing left. I dislike je oh behaviour lately. It's like he's not the same. And ik he went through things but he shouldn't let those things destroy him or his relationship. In this ch it looked like he really doesn't care about his relationship as much as he did and that's really annoying. And again not excusing what the boyfriend did but I understand a bit his frustration. He already went through such a "relationship" and je oh not communicating with him and doing everything on his own made him question everything. Just read the raws and I ain't speaking that language so I just assumed things but I'm pretty sure it's like this anyways.
