Tbh I don’t know too even though I read the novel-
Basically I guess seme was given a chance and regressed (?) but not with full memories but he does have dreams that was his past life ( before regression where uke dies )
I don’t remember much but all I know is, in the end they have a happy ending.

But something did happened when he was in labor ( he didn’t die this time )
After that, seme now remembers what actually happened in his past life. And boom
