He will not show up , just in last few chapters and gets horribly rejected by taeui . He only brings illy and tae together

They meet again but it was too late tae was already head over heals for illy and same for illy , tae pick on Illy's behaviour which was obvious that illy loves him
Because the Xinlu in Tae's mind was different from reality. Tae's only loved the sweet innocent Xinlu when they first met, but not the real Xinlu who full of twists. And also Tae already fell for Ilay, and kept thinking about him 24/7.
