Yes, I remember I've read some spoilers from the novel. It says that the 1st life of Ines was with Carcel happily (but Ines don't clearly remember this timeline). And they say that Ines wished to suffer something than Carcel being killed again by the crown prince. I think that's why Ines is being born again and again
