This was bl that had a Japanese family that lived in Korea (or vice versa). A little boy (ml) was kept inside the mansion all the time and mc was brought in to play with him or tutor him. Eventually they did plan an escape but I think the mc fell down a hill and they tried to convince him that this never happened. I think ml’s family sponsors him to go get an education.
He comes back many years later as an adult I believe. Ahh it’s been a while so a lot of the details I forgot or I could have gotten wrong ! But I remember the title had a Japanese name in it!
