He was in past but he was clearly insecure and jealous. Now I got the full backstory and that he picked on Skylar because he felt like Chan-il, his only friend AT SCHOOL, was taken away.

He is not a manipulator now, nor does he want to be. I do think he should’ve said to Chan-il: “I don’t want to tell you everything because it’s personal but there’s nothing going on between your girlfriend and me.”

But clearly Cirrus didn’t because he was in a rush and was already upset even before Chan confronted. And more upset after because he was stopped for that.

I made a post here about it: https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/16471178/

I don't think he's deranged. But troubled? Yes. Plus, I don't think he wants to be manipulative, like the person above commented. That's just unfortunately a product of how he was raised. Even he's confessed to himself that he's jealous of Chan-il here in the latest chapter. It wasn't hard to see before but now it's plain as day. That should definitely show the audience why Cirrus did the things he did.

Plus, he DID bully Skylar in the beginning which was pretty manipulative if you ask me. Makes me like him all the more since there is a LOT more to the character than just unhinged chaos. It's okay to admit he did bad things and made bad decisions and still root for the character in the end.

Preach. And yeah to add to the bullying of Skylar, Cirrus did apologize for everything he did to Skylar and they had a heartful talk. I’m just waiting for the talk between them once Skylar opens up about his own trauma.

obviously, im not saying that he has never done anything bad in his life. but some people view him as a villain, like whatever he's doing, is always in order to hurt people around him, as if he was doing it on purpose. a lot of these people act as if the cirrus we have right now, is the same person he was back in s1 even tho he DID go through a character development. he's not the he was back then. he's still not perfect, and it's not like he's a huge green flag or anything, but he's trying to be better for skylar at least. he doesn't want to hurt him anymore

If people thinks that’s a villain, I guess all population with mental problems are a villain who are complete trash.
