i think thats a really redundant way to think of media. morals and ethics DO have a place in fiction; stories are meant to elicit emotion, not just be something you consume to shut your brain off. it's not 'pointless' to have opinions about things. just because you can "stfu and enjoy the manga" doesnt mean everyone else should too
What's redundant is reading a manga no one is forcing you to continue reading since it triggers you. If your mental health can't handle a fictional story like I said unfollow the manga and move on.
People come here to get away from everyday life stressers not to be a receptacle for discussions people should be having with a therapist. It's extremely toxic how people dump their baggage into the comments and it's inconsiderate to the reading community. Some of you are making the experience on mangago an overall terrible net negative for everyone because every comment has to be a therapy session, that's not okay. Many of us including myself is sick of seeing that shit and just want you to seek therapy not the comment section.
Y'all are seriously debating morals and ethics on fictional characters in a fictional world as if this happened in real life. Y'all need to stfu and just enjoy the manga or unfollow and move on. These are drawings in a book based on a fiction, no one was literally r'pd.
