Exactly i mean they were not even in that much of a crisis that it made them go like i like u stuffs it could have been like how the uke went to him but the seme is no where and he regrets only thinking from his side he sees the seme with someone then misunderstands then cries then gets sick then the seme comes to check then there is this awkward situation between where both of them have misunderstanding so the uke in fever starts to confess the seme is shocked then he doesn’t knows what to say the uke starts crying and apologizing and then the seme is hugging saying its ok and doing some communication u have to make a case where there is a real crisis like the uke is like this is the last time i will confess then try to move on which he obvi cant but still before the seme is with someone he has this urge to finally address his feelings cuz who knows he never might get a chance like that maybe could have happened i think
