I didn't read the novel but i think they changed the plot a bit to make it more funny since i can feel we are going to be really sad and anxious in the future.

Same. I don't think it is a part of the novel but it's kinda funny nonetheless. Besides it didn't really affect the plot and Sououng shows up anyways

(Correct me if I'm wrong) but I read the novel more than five times already I was so confused when I see them jumping in like that all I remember is Han yoojin saying calm down to hunter Noah then sharing his skills to bring part of Noah's memory back
