Late stage of leukemia is since it's a form of cancer but if caught early enough medicine can be effective.
It all depends on how strong the body is and considering how strong over all the brother is but with his symptoms I would say... stage 2 leukemia?

Very true but we're going off "normal humans".
Like I know it's a fantasy world so of course it's not all realistic but the divine arts user's seem to have a stronger body compared to a normal human... plus I don't see the main character letting another family member die to cancer.
Also completely agree with this headline but even if it can't be cured you can go into long term remission from it.
I mean technically EVERYONE has cancer but it just doesn't get activated in some people

By addressing the cancer cells at an early stage, many of the life threatening aspects of Leukemia can be addressed, after that is symptomatic treatment and regular use of medication and supplementation as well as regular monitoring and maintenance.

What I basically referring to is how the mc acts like having Leukaemia is no big deal because now we know the root of the problem. Whereas even the world mc is from has failed to cure it completely.

Yea definitely. We all want the tsundere older brother to live. Guess we’ll know with time how the treatment goes. I am curious to see how they replicate radiation and chemo.
But leukemia is an incurable disease here too.
