This is not peak story telling. AOT storytelling was peak and I've always applauded isayama for it. This? Nah, this is garbage. Gege needs a wife and kids, not writing this shit.
Both are good why you hating plus giving a character certain powers that can overpower other characters is common so why's it bad
When did he "pull out a random ass technique from whatever era and boom"? He was only active in the Heian era then got tired of defeating everyone, made a deal with Kenjaku and the result is this. He is living his dream. Ofc he is going to be having fun while fighting and playing with them with different skills. Sukuna even gave them time to prepare and learn different skills, I mean look at Yuji and others. Are you reading the story from Tiktok?
this manga didnt “fall off” yall just dont understand peak. yall get too attached to a fictional character then wish death threats to the author when they die. did yall even read/watch aot? akame ga kill? tokyo revengers? im not saying im happy the characters are dying but i acknowledge the story telling is impactful and is definitely leaving a mark- which is a common trait of good storytelling. gege is trying to create this story in a way that cannot be predicted and i feel like hes succeeded in doing that ever since gojos death. This was never meant to be a happy story. every character surviving till the end wouldve been unrealistic given the setting of the story. knowing that, i can appreciate the hard work he has put into this and i look forward to seeing the ending. i personally predict that yuji will defeat sukuna after everyone else has died but i cant imagine how he will do that. it is sad to imagine, but ever since yuji was introduced in the beginning, ive always wanted to see how far he will grow. we will wait and see
