Ummm I think you missed a big part of the storyline there..Shibata actually did those things for a living..he was a drug dealer technically but he seduced and used 'mules' instead of doing the work himself...which is why he called Haru his money tree. Plus there was only the slight mention of possible love from his accomplice, I doubt he actually did love him since he was all too happy to drug and try to rape him!
I was annoyed that Haru didn't report the rape, I know it's hard, and the friend said they had evidence against him, but it's still important. Yandere types scare me the most.
I actually feel bad for Shibata because he had already fallen for Haru which drove him to do those things. Ah but we can't deny he was wrong to begin with. Nice read 8/10
