I unironically think that Haga is one of the most fascinating ideas to come from this entire story which is why I’m so disappointed with how he was handled.
It would be one thing if he was just a villain standing in the way of their true love but the fact that he was sexually assaulted in his formative years by a teacher whom he trusted due to the fact that he was a switch which caused him to reject his submissive side and fully focused on his dominance side and just so happen to find someone who he would be able to do that work is fascinating.
I think it’s really interesting. The fact that the characters in the story seem to underestimate his trauma because if they knew the root cause of it, I think they would be moving more gently instead of how aggressive they do it and I don’t think the long-haired guy would especially taunt him.
That being said, I am disappointed at the ending due to the fact that after he breaks down they go hey It’s ok let’s fix this and then it’s reveal that he is going to be facing his identity as a switch and that’s all fine and good but like if his trauma is strong enough to cause all of this, I don’t think it would be resolved over breaking down one time like give him his own story to face this. Commit to the idea that you made.
and f9r this reason i need either a set of side stories for haga ir a whole manga fir him. and getting himself a switch partner (idc if gf or bf) i just want him to have hia happy ending
