I think it is a good and interesting thriller but definitely it is a dark red flag romance.

MC loves studying and his dream is going to a good college, he just studies and mind his own business but there is a rich weird guy who is persistent and tries to befriend him. Is this the start of A series of Unfortunate events?

at first it was intriguing, but honestly not worth reading even if you are seeking a good psychological romance plot. it follows the stereotypical yaoi plotline of poor, studious twink mc and psycho rich, obsessive tall ml. and im honestly all for these plots however not when it’s clearly a victim x abuser dynamic *spoilers below*

i really like dark romance on equal grounds, however mc gets slowly isolated in the most obvious ways. then the only reason why ml is able to get away with it is because mc’s ex bf/friend attempted to rape him and after ml saved him: mc became co-dependent on ml. the reason why it bothers me sm and why i don’t recommend this webtoon is because sooyoung would’ve liked ml regardless of all the horrible shit he does (behind his back), but after mc finds out- it blows up in mls face and now he’s gonna do whatever crazy shit it takes to make sooyoung stay with him. this story so far is easy to predict and not memorable… just irritating and sad atp lmao

    Agree, first season was good.
If they don’t end together, actually the story would turn out different and good, it would change the message. But it is unlikely. Comments in the official site are more positive about the development.

Still I have a minimum hope that they won’t end together because Jihwan is too much. He is more like caricature villain than a interesting psycho male lead.
