Found this story quite charming and unique. Many people argue that it's kinda weird for an adult to attend high school, but bear in my that some countries actually don't hinder people's age to attend school. Doesn't a person have a right to a proper education? In my country even the aunties and elders can attend primary school despite the age gap with their schoolmates. After graduating they'll even get featured on news and the like for having the courage to attend school. However in this story, seme only has a 5 year gap with his classmates. Moreover, he was personally recommend by the principal to continue his highschool education. And aside from the fact that he is of legal age to date, he is also well known to have a previous relationship with the teacher or bff. Overall, I have no beef with this story except for that whole 'coma' thing. It wasn't even explained properly and they just kind of shove it off somewhere.
