I feel like it just falls short of becoming a really good.
I did enjoy Shinji's character progression. I think he was the most fleshed out(for obvious reasons if you've read it) which makes the finale more cohesive.
Secondly, the romance feels rushed. Maybe not from Anzu's side but certainly Kiichi. Lik this man did a 180 within a minute and it makes their relationship feel too fast and shallow.
The plot twists were predictable as such stories go. Some bits were far too overdramatic. Maybe cuz i read the entire thing in one sitting some of these things stand out more obviously.
it's a decent story. It sorta reminded me of say, a lite ver. of Shonen no Abyss in vibe rather than story itself. I still think it brings a good discussion of financial disparity, jealousy, complacency and such. Again, not bad.
