I don't think we're supposed to know the exact reason yet. Why did he kill the villager in the beginning? He's sus. He killed the cousin so he wouldn't run his mouth in front of others and Bada find out.

And also he has this weird superhuman strength that allows him to kill the killer. And now this. There's something going on with him that we don't know about
I think those cassette tapes might belong to the “NPC” friends and that they were actual players like Bada. I think the cousin would’ve brought it up in front of Bada and Bada would figure it out from there :0
