aside from the dad and sexual assault stuff(since everyone else in this comment section already said).

I found it sickening that the characters(photographer, mc) found Tou sexy because of his vulnerability. like, the photographer seeing this kid(high school) and his bruises then saying that it made them want to do something sexually to Tou is disgusting.
and then after hearing this, mc thinks that people who assaulted mc might do it subconsciously???!
like way to put the blame on other people’s actions onto the victims vulnerability.

like i admit that there are people with fucked up mentality like this in the world but i don’t want them to be potrayed as the mc of the story we we’re supposed to be rooting for. and for it to be a casual dialogue too.
i guess its kinda realistic like that…

I'm quite disagree with your thought
From what i got is that the photographer didn't have the thought for himself. It's just he assumed or admit people who saw Tou and his vulnerability might have that sexually thought of want to do him, not himself but other person.
And shizuka's comments about it, i think it's not wrong that he said 'people who assaulted mc might do it subconsciously', because talk about reality, rapist sometimes doesn't realize what they did until it's already ended or when they're still in the act does their realization came. It's because sometimes they're not on their right mind and the moment, they only following their lust or drunk which made they blind and only following the desire.
Of course it's not always, mostly they also commit it with their mind clear.
And whether they did it consciously or subconsciously, they should be put in jail

I disagree. The photographer was pointing out that Tou not only is beautiful, but has an aura that makes it easy for predators to catch on and target him. The same way certain people find themselves being treated badly or wondefully no matter where they go; they have personality traits or quirks that people read consciously or subconsciously and act on impulse. In Tou's case, he had a very notable vulnerability to him that people wanted to intrude on, accompanied by a need to keep things bottled up and not cause a ruckus, and on top of that he was more attractive than the standard man in an andreoginous way. Take those three things and you can see why the photographer who suspected domestic violence also assumed sexual abuse, and why Shizuka contextualized the photographer's argument with what he had previously seen of people's treatment of Tou, and agreed with it.

Literally no one is blaming Tou, nor are they saying it was deserved. They also think it's disgusting and upsetting. It's just an observation of a revolting reality, and if the MC had NOT understood nor actually think hard about the implications of what the photographer was saying, he would be a naive fool, which he had not been shown to be before so it wouldn't make sense.
