I hate it when people say ytc sucks just because it didn't take the route they imagined it should have. It's giving lack of reading comprehension. Did you know comprehension skills involves knowing who the target audience is and the purpose of the story. If while reading this you couldn't get any of this you lack comprehension skills. This story is often minimised by the fandom and reduced to fandom wars when even the story itself criticises comparisons when it comes to love. Jooins most toxic trait within the series was comparing Yahwi and Cain which he shouldn't have been doing because as we later find out he always wanted Yahwi and all that shit he did during the series was just escapism and he roped Cain ( a willing victim) into it. He always had the option to let Cain go but he uses him without much care for the consequences and only until someone who truly loves Cain intervenes (Ryan) does he realise how shit he actually is to Cain.

Cain himself constantly compares himself to Yahwi. Every time he saw Yahwi he'd jump and cling to Jooin to show that he is closer to Jooin which was so childish and I don't think a grown man should have been doing that. He internalises this competition with Yahwi that he forgets that his efforts should be on winning Jooin over emotionally and not trying to one up Yahwi with things that Jooin had already expressed were too much for his liking.

The constant comparisons were a distraction from what all of them needed to do to secure their own happiness. Yahwi realises competing with Cain won't get him Jooin and actually decides to work on himself and atoning for what he had done. He realises that he was always the problem and not Cain or Jooin and strives to improve himself even if it won't get him Jooin back. He gets to a point that he accepts the probability that it's over for him and Jooin.

Anyways what I'm trying to say is don't close your mind and only ingest what you want to see but allow yourself to see the full picture before passing judgement when all your complaints are just extremely biased being passed off as so-called facts.
