I know it's wrong to put blame on the victim who is being tricked into a difficult situation, but the context here is different. This is an OMEGAVERSE, meaning a suspicious alpha is dangerous. With their encounter in the bathroom earlier, Sejin would have figured out that the brother is not a good person and is an alpha that sees himself as superior than our omega Sejin. And even tho Sejin had a bad feeling following him, he didn't exactly question or feel suspicious about the brother wanting to "help clean" his suit. Sejin rlly thought the ALPHA brother wanted to help him out when he clearly belittled Sejin earlier?
As I interpreted it Sejin knew he is not going to clean his suit. Though due to the fear and power he hopes that is not the case. There is that hope that if you go along with the person that they will just let you go and nothing will happen. Even with the context, a man is a man and an alpha is an alpha. He can know and still follow him out of fear. Saying no can be hard when put into that situation, and I say this as someone whos been in Sejins place... I could have said no but I couldn't actually say it because of the fear of the other persons power and control. Also, whats to say the Alpha brother-in-law wouldn't cause a scene or say something about Sejin. Sejin has no power here. His family is falling apart as is and the alpha brother-in-law has a lot of money and family to back him up no matter what something Sejin does not have.
Of course, going through something like that is hard... and sometimes you don't even realize what is actually happening to.you until years later. No one should have to go through it but this manwha portrays it well in my opinion. I just hope its holds up and isn't just passed over like in other manwha like some small plot point.
Please don't speak on the subject of sa and r if you have not experienced it yourself. Yes he could have turned around and walked away but you never really know what you would do in that moment until it is actually happening to you. I say this as a victim of sa as well. Its not about the physical sa, its about power. Having that stripped from you can be so easy where you're forced in to situations like this when you have go be complicate. Everyone making comments about our main character being dumb is just further pushing the victim blaming mentality and it is shameful.
