At the end of the day, they were teenagers making bad decisions, which is sad because one could think that maybe many of their problems could have been solved (in some ways) if they had a proper support system and actually responsible adults around to guide them. They were just teenagers making stupid decisions, but we can't deny that there's some true in how experiencies and backgrounds play a significant role in shaping someone as a person. Don't take me wrong tho, I hope there's no redepmtion arc for Kamiki because he still needs to be held accountable for his crimes. But this new chapter lowkey made me feel sad thinking about how all the bad things that happened to him and Ai played a part in their development as individuals. Kids need to be protected. Always.
