inevitably controversial but not that bad

I think what makes this story sparks more critics/controversial is because how inconsistent the author makes it to be.

1. What timeline does this occur? Surely leaving things to reader’s imagination is nice and all but setting the timeline straight could direct the story better.

2. No depth whatsoever in each character.
At first I thought Louis could be some dignified and reserved kind of commander…yknow? With how excellent he is in physical activities and his title. But as the more stories unfold, why does everyone makes it like he’s such an easy person who can sleep with just anyone and to make it worse Louis himself didn’t try to stand up for himself? What’s up with that?

That’s about Louis alright. Now we move to Mettel/Crown Prince. Idk, his character isn’t consistent either. Looks like the author couldn’t decide to make him psychotic or not until the end. He loves the sex with Louis that’s for sure lol.

BUUTT… it’s still a nice light read, don’t overthink it I guess.
