The truth is that omegaverse does not need to be just yaoi. Sure, if you look at it in way that It's just a verse of getting male pregnant then yes, but we have mpg. Omegaverse is much more. It's about animalistic behavior when it comes to dominance/protecting and being unable to think straight. People normaly don't ho into heat or rut you know? And also people sadly don't normally have this strong fate bond.

The omegaverse, I believe is one of the reason, was made so that we can or at least guys can see or project themselves as the one being on the losing side, which are omegas. Getting pregnant, can't control when you secrete liquid, being weak physically, having heats and such.

It's quite generic that the same things just happen in real life, as someone who's been through things like that and living in constant fear of men.

I wasn't upset coz of this either way and I wasn't going to read it anyways. I'm not sure why I was a bit indiferrent of this but maybe because of TikTok portraying alpha and omegas at that time roleplaying omegaverse n cringy lines like "he's my man, my rock, my alpha" kinda shit. I cringed a lot lol and so I thought heteros r again taking away things from LGBT community as their own.

I dunno how really liking omegaverse is projecting anything in a bad light... and as someone who has been stalked, beaten, and raped by several different people to the point that *other* people had called the cops to try to save me, I personally see no relation between those experiences and omegaverse. I mean, again, if breaking sexual gender norms and sci-fi animalistic sex characteristics is somehow normal to some of you, I ain't mad that it's normal for you- I'm mad I'm not living in that universe. Again, as someone NOT het, but definitely not a homosexual man, I don't see why other several people always end up saying they only think men should be in omegaverse stories.
