Maybe Wei yun didn't die and was in a coma. And while Ah tong went back to the past, Wei yun was dreaming about it in his coma. Ah tong went back to the present as Wei yun woke up from his coma with his memories from his dreams from when Ah tong went back to the past intact. And then they reunite. Idk
