jo’s purpose is to be the upgrade, why do you think it took jo not even a year for ian to let him into his life? he slept with lots of ppl to tire himself to sleep, a coping mechanism, but with jo? it doesn’t feel that way, at first maybe but as they got closer ian started to see how serious jo is about their relationship and even went as far as thinking “are we in a relationship or something?”
