I can agree with some points you made (esp the running away i mean i get why but its so cliche), the pregnancy def made the plot a lot more dramatic than it needed it to be BUT both the mc and ml had traumas they had trouble overcoming, something that couldn't be solve with just "talking it out" the pregnancy gave both the mc and ml a harsh wake up call they needed, the desire from both of them to give their child a proper childhood they didn't have led to a lot of arguments but also a lot of healing so the pregnancy was def a big driving factor in the plot. plus he's so cuteee omg the cutest baby ever.
I think you should try rereading it but with a new mindset but if it doesn't work out then that's that, not everything's for everyone! :)

I hate manwhas with pregnancy… if only I knew before I started reading I wouldn’t even have started it. The plot disappears as soon as someone get pregnant, EVERY TIME. And this time, too, of course. Their dynamic is interesting but the way things developed is just annoying. The bottom (don’t know how to write their names) disappears for 2 whole months WITHOUT A REASON (pregnancy and fear are not good reasons) and they don’t even talk about that, NEVERRR. The top overcomes his problems with omega’s pheromones suddenly (“family”? You’ve known this guy for a year at best, and you haven’t even seen him for the past two months, but now he’s family and he cures your illness????). It seemed nice but the pregnancy ruined it, totally. After he got pregnant, that was the whole plot, nothing else. Rubbish
