i mean i don’t think he was in the wrong to not out someone though. that’s kind of a complicated thing and he’s just trying to remain respectful to something that was asked of him by another person he cherishes. he should be reassuring the mc but there’s really a lack of communication on both parts because the mc is suffering from past trauma and the ml isn’t providing that comfort for him

Is he really going to choose to "remain respectful" by not outing that person rather than reassuring his OWN lover himself? Like I get that it's totally not cool to out someone but in this situation that's the only thing that could provide the MC comfort. And again, MC has no intention of outing someone. All he wants is reassurance from his boyfriend.

nah man i think in those kind of situations your partner should be your top priority and that means ml should be honest about what happened. plus they're literally a gay couple themselves it's not like mc is going to out a person just because ml told him they're queer.
but yeah you're right, there's definitely a lack of communication on both parts and i hope the author will stop giving us misunderstandings
period mc stand your ground!!!!!! i would be so mad if my boyfriend wasn't willing to tell me something like that just to keep someone else's secret?? like shouldn't your relationship be more important??
