Oh, is the novel ongoing too? I've thought it was open-ended type.
And sorry guys, I don't remember exactly how it ended as its been years since I read it, but something like great end battle against some evil noble(?) and our mc sacrifices herself to save his love and sister or smth, and she's finally come to terms with her feelings. Then we get to Crow's story, he meets mc and says something thoughtless, regrets it and goes to see her just to find out she hang herself, then guilt-ridden he's traveling space/time/alternative realities trying to find her and make her happy, but their timelines are mixed, like when Crow meets her for the first time, she has already met him dunno how many times etc. He almost always finds her, and when he does it's basically too late to make her happy. And she always keeps calling out for that fiance of hers which hurts Crow, who's come to like her. Reading it just makes you sad, but it's a good angst story
yeah it's 'ongoing' but super confusing and easy to think that since the author took a really long break lol (basically she just takes tons of long breaks all the time without a word) so who knows if this will ever get an 'actual' ending rip. like she left with the marianne thing and didn't give a "the end" and it's officially marked as ongoing somehow so it's really....yeah. manga might do us a favor in the distant future by making it's own ending (with it's nearly equally as slow releases)
i guess you could say it's over but i also don't entirely trust her to leave it at that since it do be status: ongoing -has trauma from this sadistic author-
I don't know why I keep doing this to myself and I keep on reading although I know this story is about angst, angst and angst topped with some more angst. Even the ending isn't a happy one (I read the novel's ending)
