it makes you feel conflicted because on one hand, it's rape, then on the other hand, he's consenting, and then the cycle repeats, so is it rape or consensual?
and on the other hand, he just lost his fiance and almost immediately, in his own headspace, goes with the brother instead...like, that's not a rebound anymore, that's a light-year warp.
This. This is why I cant wrap my head around it either. What took me out of it too was the sister. Like... she just left like that? I mean i understand , same thing happened to their parents but, it's different too cos he made it, it took a while but he made it. She couldve at least checked in on him... oh whatever
For me personally.. i think she just really doesn't want to hold on to another traumatic experience from car accidents and she just wants to start all over with a new life?? I dont blame her exactly since she already lost her family with the first accident. But she just probably gave up on him since the hope they both hold on to for a month with their father ended up with his death in the end so she probably just doesn't want to feel the pain once again? Idk but this is how i perceive it
i dunno how to feel bout this….its good and i like how the book that was referenced also tied into the story but at the same time…….i dunno..? they deserve their happy endin but like…..huh..?
