It hurts more because Lewis’ last words were basically directed to adolph and not Ivan, telling him about going home together after school… just why? :( It makes me think that Lewis never really let go of Adolph even though he loved Ivan. In the end, Adolph became delusional and Ivan lost someone he never had. (at least to my interpretation)
