I reread this to notice that Mutsuki really raped that body. Is that person really Kaneki btw???? This is confusing what the hell is wrong with Mutsuki?

Uta is able to change his face(?) if you have noticed, he does that often to either confuse or provoke his enemy ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Uta change his face to deceive Mutsuki in to not killing him and making Mutsuki think that he was Sasaki/Kaneki. But it backfired because Mutsuki is a crazy yandere who we just figured out loved Kaneki so she is currently having sex with him. Don't know if Uta is dead though since he can regenerate fast--she did stab him in the brain.

Oh my god, now I wanna laugh. Poor Uta. @EmpressAlex I haven't notice sorry. I never know he got such interesting talent. I thought he could only make masks, I guess I wasn't paying attention to a lot of things this whole time. It's hard to keep up when there's a lot of characters keep showing up at once.

Uta once changed his face to be Arima in front of Hirako, and just before this he changed his face to be Shinohara to deceive Suzuya.

just because they're a bit confused doesn't mean they aren't into the story. I like TG's story a lot myself but I also find the manga pretty hard to follow at times; I've honestly lost count of the amount of times I've been totally confused after reading a chapter. I think it's mostly due to how rough the art style is and/or the way the narrative is told.. neither give a lot of clarity as to what's happening most of the time, so it's easy to get lost if you don't extensively pay attention and analyse the pages properly (which of course a lot of casual readers wouldn't do, since they'd most likely be reading in passing).

I do enjoy both the art style and the story but it is unfortunately rather hard to follow in a comic format, especially when it's paired with the sort of rushed execution a lot of scenes seem to have. sometimes I think some particular scenes in this manga could do with slowing down a bit, perhaps giving a few more pages designated to more extensively illustrating what's actually going on - it feels like a lot of things get kind of glossed over or only very briefly addressed. most of my own confusion usually comes from scenes escalating too fast without proper explanation, and then I have no idea what's going on unless I go back and re-read/examine the pages about 10 times. I don't really have this issue with other manga so I know it's not just a me thing, I'm fairly sure it's something to do with how TG itself is showcased. it has nothing to do with someone not being invested in the story.

Agreed. I also think it's a confusing story that takes some effort to understand it all, especially fighting scenes and when someone goes crazy. But I like the style that Ishida-sensei leaves us thinking what has happened.

same here, I do still enjoy it despite the fact it's a little bit confusing at times aha. I love the art style and the story regardless, so I can totally tolerate being a little disoriented while reading it myself - I probably wouldn't still be reading it now if I had a glaring issue with it. I do also agree the sort of chaotic atmosphere it has does suit the whole feel TG has quite well! it's a very gritty/raw and frenzied story, so having scenes and visuals that follow suit does seem fitting for sure. idm the sorta haphazard messiness the manga has personally, I was mostly just pointing out to Asamilee that confusion doesn't always necessarily mean disinterest. ^_^
