James is self centered and only cares about what he wants, so her feelings or negative experiences are secondary to his goal to make her stay with him. The reason it’s hard to explain is because time rewound and she has no proof. In this timeline, she never even met James, and the stepmothers were somewhat cruel, but all the gross neglect and miserable circumstances from her memory haven’t occurred yet. Technically speaking she can’t talk about why James was a horrible husband without trying to explain the time jump.
I don't understand this characters anymore. I can't handle the ex-husband piece of shit. Why is he acting like he still has the right to stand beside the FL?? I just don't get it. And why doesn't the FL explain to her father about her experience with her ex-husband??? As a father I wouldn't want my daughter anywhere near an abusive man like that
