The mother became the dowager lady of the house when Raeven died so Ars mom basically lost all her rights to be viewed as the "lady of the house". She's still living there but almost like a background person since the moment Ars became lord his wife took the duties of lady of the house. Including running the estate and child-rearing which most noble women left to the servants anyway. It'd be problematic if his Mom remarried and had other kids because it would create another line of aristocrat's who could potentially oppose Ars to seize control. We never find out if Mom was a noble just that Dad Raeven was a commoner given rank; a low ranking family likely married a daughter off to gain favor&benefits from the new young back water lord. Liscia showed us that was her plan until she actually fell for Ars.

As for the 35 yo reincarnated aristocrat being into a child who falls in love with a child. There's already a Manga that kind of explained that to me. Ryoma in the man picked the Gods: after reincarnation the protag is both his past self and current self with the feelings & mindset of the current body. His mind won't complete revert to a child or his future memories won't be able to help him. But physically, psychologically and emotionally Ars is becoming the dominant version of himself. I took as one of those scenarios because he almost new trouble operating in his day to day life with no lag in skills. Like horse riding yes sometimes people are taught that skill but the avg office worker likely wouldn't have that. Plus his academic skills lean towards him being sort of brainy. Definitely not an expert and the story operates by the author's will I just thought it would ruin a leisure story by tugging the threads. Besides these points could be used later for something so we are deliberately not getting answers plot holes exist in manga but so do false intentional trails.
