tbf i dont blame jiho for not knowing how inwoo felt about his mom bc inwoos always talked about missing her and hasnt talked about how her leaving him gave him serious abandonment issues. like inwoo said, jihos never hated his family--he was mad at them and hated that they didnt accept him, but that all came from wanting them to still love him. some people just straight up cant fathom genuinely hating your family. but i DO blame him for forcing inwoo to meet his mom. even if he didnt know how complex inwoo's emotions were, it still isnt something you just dump on someone. hopefully this leads to inwoo talking about his feelings tho cuz my boys been repressing A LOT

EXACTLY this!! Not sure why there’s so much disdain for the uke. Yes I get it, I think there should’ve been a conversation held before setting a meeting up with inwoo and his mom,,,, however jiho did it with good intention and he barely has any context on what happened with inwoo and his mom. (This is not to say that what happened was right) however, jiho should also understand that just because you hold love for your own family no matter what they did to you doesn’t mean that others should feel the same toward their own family, granted not all family dynamics and situations are the same. Like all relationships in manhwa/manga and real life communication should be taking place and I think inwoo could be more open about his childhood. not saying he is obligated to although I would think that’s something you’d want to share with a romantic partner (at his own pace) but there’s also the piece that I feel maybe Inwoo feels embarrassed about his trauma and his finally situation compared to Jiho’s family, which is why he’s reluctant to share his situation with jiho. Lol I have more thoughts but I’ll leave it here.
