No, the story is not dropped. Hashigo (author) in twitter is still posting Dakaretai Otoko related things, or even drawing the characters..
As for the updates, i'm not so sure myself. Its been like this since forever. We're at vol8 which the story will continue until vol9
As far as i've looked through sites it has already released but i cant find the exact date. I did find out that vol9 is released because i was looking through japanese manga books online and it was selling. So either the scans (?) translating this droppes it or they'll wait longer until they finally translate it.
