Her personality is literally too optimistic and happy merry go. I like her but she’s given the typical female mc treatment and yes she is def too trusting of this friend despite the red flags and is wearing rose glasses for sure.
She’s fully aware that this so called friend stood by her past evil actions and even encouraged her, yet she wants to hang onto her for sure reason. She wasn’t even the one that was friend’s with her so this weird attachment is very unusual. The way everyone else around her reacts to this friend should’ve been a wake up call as well but she ignores it all for her own comfort until it bites her in the arse. Go gaslight someone else dummy
I don't really agree I've read many webtooons with villainess characters and this is one of the first where after being reincarnated she earns the affection of the male lead then has to watch him and everyone else die and see her kingdom gradually get ruined and it's perceived to be her fault. Most stories don't start on that premise even less likely when she's a villainess and the villain even earned the ml leads affection and he chose her over his own kingdom he didn't believe it was her fault and he wasn't going to give up on her. A lot of these stories make the guy out to be a jerk but this one doesn't. And all that happened in like the first chapter.
MC is unreasonably stupid in some regards and that’s used as fuel to move the plot forward which is such lazy writing I hate it everytime I see it. Well it’s quite a basic webtoon, nothing new and everything is predictable. If I were her I wouldn’t be trusting a soul bruh she needs to wake the heck up due yesterday
