jesus christ the plot and writing just keep getting worse, it went just the tiniest decent for a bit (for the silly unserious manga it was set up to be) after the whole weird start and transition to the main characters suddenly getting together, up to the plotline with shizuka’s dad and all, though there were still overused and not well-written tropey stuff here and there, but right after that… we’re getting smacked in the face with exhausting, nonsensical shitty plotlines & tropes & formulaic writing like get that shitty new character out of here i’d have rather read the characters having sex all chapters long till the end tbh
